We have approximately forty members across our branch's three dioceses, and are always pleased to meet new colleagues. Membership currently costs £23 per year, including a quarterly subscription to 'The Virger' magazine.

Applications are welcome from all who serve or have served in the office of Verger, whether salaried or not, full or part-time, honorary, voluntary or retired. We also welcome those engaged in similar duties but with a different (or no) title, who regularly give their time and talents in the ordering of worship and/or the care of church buildings, whether in the Church of England or in any of the Christian denominations with which it has ecumenical relations.
